John Noble:

He's been playing guitar since he was a teen and in around the Burlington area since 1990. Recent projects before Funk Shway include the Chameleons (a Burlington based five piece featuring some" down home" jazz numbers and other selections) and Twin Towers (a guitar duo with eclectic output).

Matt Saltus:

Matt picked up the bass fifteen years ago, and found it to be rather heavy. Filling in for the super-tall night-school-attending bassist for Yankee Pot Roast gave Matt his start, including gigs at Nectar's. Comedy was an early outlet too, playing improvised bass lines with invented lyrics for audiences all over northern Vermont. Funk Shway is full of great lyrical and rhythmic bass lines that complement the sonic flights of the treble instruments. And there is no finer drummer with whom to lay down the foundation than Geno. Matt is also a member of Manbando.

Gene Bouffard:

Gene has been playing the drums in one form or another since 1974. Throughout the 80's Gene played with a variety of bands and then took a break for about 10 years. Most recently he has been playing with SPX since 1999 and now Funk Shway for the last couple of years. When he is not playing the drums, he can be found working outside, perfecting the ice on his pond, and spending time with his wife Lisa, and two children - Skylar and Mason.

John Hadden:

John's played in a wide variety of bands over the years--from folk duos, to contemparay a cappella bands and various rock'n'roll incarnations. He's currently active in Manbando, and The Swing Peepers. He owns and operates Resting Lion Studio--a digital recording and graphic design studio located in Huntington, VT.
